Small Groups
Looking to connect with a small group?
Small groups have deep roots in the Christian tradition, particularly in Methodism. John Wesley helped establish small group meetings as a cornerstone of spiritual growth and learning in the early Methodist movement. Called "class meetings" these small groups were designed to provide encouragement, accountability and instruction to people from diverse backgrounds. Small groups happen in a variety of ways at Lockerbie Central . . . through informal interactions, Earth House activities, and scheduled gatherings. Every other Thursday evening, we host an Interfaith Conversation group. During Lent we will provide study materials for small groups to discuss the parables we will explore in worship. The materials will make it easy for you to grab a friend and have a conversation about some of our most powerful ancient stories.
